Whisper in the Morning

Suddenly, I smile when I look at you sleeping like a baby. Then, I want to remind you of a story. Maybe you can't listen to my voice cause I speak in silence.

Could you remember how we first met? 

It's all about two young people meeting in the ballroom of a hotel. It happened to be interesting then. It's because what happened in the next could have been something precious, something special for the two of us. We fell in love.

I couldn't remember why I felt so comfortable sitting next to you, talking about so many things, and being very curious about your story back then. But, I never tried to find out the reason why. I was enjoying the togetherness and the chemistry among us. You never failed to make me smile. I never thought that it would be the beginning of our love story. All I know, I may have found someone that can make me believe. Someone who always lends me his shoulder. Someone who makes me feel so special just the way I am. I could have talked about everything. I dare to tell you about the future, about dreams, and of course, about love too. It's never easy for me to talk about love. I used to think that love was something complicated that you couldn't easily understand. Sometimes, it even made me tired and surrender. But with you, it turned into something simple and beautiful that I wanted to keep going on. I was never even once to think to leave. How you make me stay still amazes me. But, I already knew the reason why. Maybe it's because you are a warmhearted person.

I know that you're not such a sweet talker. However, you treat me so well. That's enough. I don't want to expect someone like you to be romantic just like other men cause I like your personality without a doubt. You only needed to be a better person than you used to be every day. And we promised each other to keep trying to be a better version of ourselves. As time passed, we finally realized that it's hard to do.  Isn't it something that everyone should never stop trying in their life?

After dating for two years, we're married. We kept our promise when we're in a long-distance relationship. We did it, baby. We already did. I see you always work so hard to make our dreams come true one by one. I know that life could be unpredictable in the future, but we never stop trying to catch dreams no matter what. The struggle is real since we have chosen this kind of life, a nomadic life. We believe that someday we could afford a settled life for our lovely children. Thank you for the past two beautiful years and still counting. Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for treating me so well. Thank you for giving me a good life. I'm still learning to be a good wife to you. Thank you for loving me. I love you, my husband.
